Biography

Bringer- Deceased- The Returning

Theme Song

Bringer was once the beloved adoptive brother of a certain clan's elder- Aka. Of course, that wasn't his name. Originally known as Brimstone, he and Aka considered each other brothers. Brimstone was a bit brash, but a powerful and effective leader. His skills on the battlefield were near unmatched. With Aka using magic from afar, and Brimstone fighting on the front lines up close, the two were nearly unstoppable together.

Brimstone was born in the scorching heat of the Molten Scar, in a large, prestigious clan. From an early age, his fighting skills were strong and noticeable. He was drafted into his Clan's army at a young age, and climbed the ranks until he decided to set out on his own. He then joined a mercenary company to begin amassing his own personal treasury. Brimstone grew to be a kind dragon. He could be slightly stern and a little hasty, but his heart was good. While he enjoyed making his fortune through his work, he also was pleased with the peace that his skills could create.

His only rival in the organization was another Imperial, named Stark. This Imperial was icy, cold, and had an opportunistic, "mission-before-people" approach. As a result, the two were always at odds with one another. But it wasn't all bad. In one mission where the group had joined some mages to defend a Clan during a siege, Brimstone met Aka. The two of them quickly bonded- Aka was as skilled in magic as Brimstone and Stark were in fighting. The two red Imperials became the best of friends, even consider themselves to be brothers. Slowly, as they followed their mentors into battle, the bond between the two grew- though their mentors were the true stars, the Imperial Duo's fame quickly grew.

But fate had other plans. Their company was strong, but a group that fought against criminal dragons made many enemies. One day, the company was ambushed by rogue dragons who had regrouped and sought revenge. Brimstone asked how they managed to track them and catch them off guard so quickly, but Stark stepped away from the group and revealed his treachery- that he had cut a deal to join the rogues and deliver his former comrades to them in one swoop. He then proceeded to murder Brimstone's mentor almost immediately. Brimstone, enraged, sprung into action and a horrible fight broke out- soon, only Brimstone and Aka fighting the remaining rogues, their comrades either dead or knocked out. But soon, the corpses of their Imperial friends began to writhe and shake. In horror, Brimstone witnessed the beginnings of an Emperor forming. He quickly abandoned the fight and used his powerful fire breath to start burning and destroying the bodies. Aka quickly joined in to fan the flames, the two of them quickly destroying the corpses before they could fully form. Stark and his rogues fled the fight, while Brimstone and Aka separated the remains. From then on, the two were nearly inseparable.

Aka and Brimstone eventually separated from the pack, moving on and becoming well known throughout the land as honorable warriors. The fame and fortune was more than either could handle, though Brimstone was known to be a bit more stoic than his comrade. Brimstone took a mate with a dragon in the land of light, and continued to work to support his family alongside Aka. The contracts never ceased. But one day, his carelessness led him into a terrible fate.

Raiders in the Southern Icefield. Brimstone and Aka were completely confident in their battle skills and readily took the job. As they continued into the frozen lands, they were shocked to discover that the one heading the raiders was their old comrade turned traitor, Stark. Brimstone felt a fiery rage burn within him and made a quick plan to confront their friend and settle the score. He and Aka were unstoppable- he knew they could take down Stark. It was their duty. But Stark had grown powerful as well, and surrounded himself with plenty of rogues. Though Aka pointed out that the were outnumbered, Brimstone, not willing to lose this chance to avenge his fallen friends, insisted they could do it.

But Brimstone was wrong. Stark was just one dragon, and his subordinates were far stronger than the Imperial had anticipated. It was a magnificent battle, with Brimstone and Aka taking down many dragons, desperately trying to make their way to Stark. Brimstone's fiery breath had the other Imperial on guard, and the two were chasing each other in the sky while Aka's winds kept the other rogues at bay. The fight raged for hours, but one attack got through to Aka, causing the Imperial to stagger. Brimstone immediately turned, desperate to help his friend, but then felt his blood run cold- Stark had speared him with ice the moment the Imperial's back had turned. Brimstone turned on his hated enemy, biting and clawing at him with his all his might. To this day, Stark carries the scars. The blue warrior retreated, screeching in pain to go lick his wounds, as Brimstone fell from the sky, his vision darkening, and fading to black. The last thing he saw was Aka crawling to him across the battlefield.

Brimstone's body was buried far away from the battlefield by Aka. His name was honored and revered among those who knew him. Aka stayed out of the spotlight, and by some means, Stark wound up imprisoned in the same Clan that Aka helped found. But the secret of Brimstone's unmarked grave did not stay hidden forever. Shredder had found out the location of the grave from Stark and used it to recover Brimstone's body. In a war started by the Ridgeback, many dragons died, including Imperials. Shredder then implemented his failsafe plan, known as Project: Bringer- a plan to bring about a horrible monstrosity, an Emperor, into the warzone to bring about an end to the Azeryx Clan. Shredder dropped Brimstone's corpse in the middle and murdered one more Imperial and slowly, the corpses all flocked to Brimstone's corpse.

The Emperor was newly formed, but Brimstone's strength lived on within it, causing it to grow rapidly in strength. It took the work of several dragons to put down the beast before it could grow too much power. Bringer was defeated and for a second time, Aka put his brother to rest, hoping desperately that Brimstone can have peace.
