The middle of three nestmates, Jaramy has never felt he measured up to either of his siblings. Though larger, he lacks the striking appearance of his brother or the casual confidence of his younger sister. As a result, he tends to throw himself into any challenge set to him, determined to prove his worth and, perhaps, find his specialty.

As a result, he can't find it in himself to refuse a dare. He gets into a lot of trouble that way.

Since the Tidelord gifted him with, quite literally, a change of spots, he's become a lot more confident in himself. No longer quite so overlooked with his dark eyes and patterned skin, he finds himself holding his head higher than before, and speaking his mind more readily. That's not to say he doesn't still spy on his siblings whenever he gets the chance.

Naturally cautious of his siblings and father, as other Imperials, he wants to find someone to share things with, either romantically or as a friend. Though his headstrong nature and sharp temperament tend to ward off most potential friends, he is working on making himself more accessible as an individual, and to get to know his clanmates a little better.

After so many years of scraps and struggles, he probably shouldn't have been surprised when Von selected him as his second. He'd worked hard for such an honour, after all; worked until his claws bled and his scales moulted. Some small part of him, though, had never actually expected to succeed.

Now, he serves the clan as a diplomat, as a tactical expert, as a messenger between Von and Inesha, whenever she's needed in the field. He likes being useful, likes the respect that comes with it, but shard and shell, he really hopes that someday he'll get used to it.
