BIOGRAPHY


XXXBorn in the Southern Icefield to an Ice dragon and a Water dragon, Plinius was expected to be calm, cool, and collected like the rest of his siblings. But calm. cool, and collected Plinius was not. He was an awkward youth and grew in size quite rapidly, which only led to him being even more clumsy and awkward. He learned to tell jokes to try and distract others from his inability to be like the dragons around him.

XXXOne of Plinius's favorite things to do while growing up was to lie out on his back and stare up at the stars. Sometimes he'd spend all night just watching the sky change. His family thought he was crazy, lying out in the snow in the middle of the night staring into nothing. But Plinius knew he wasn't staring at nothing. There were stars up there, and if there were stars that must mean there were other things, too. It was no shock to anyone when Plinius announced he was leaving the Southern Icefields and going to the Starfall Isles to learn about the sky.

XXXAfter finding and enrolling in a school, Plinius soaked up everything they had to teach him about the vast sky above. After graduating, he left the Starfall Isles to find a Clan with an active Observatory. He found one in the Calyx Coven. Today, he holds weekly outdoor meetings where he talks about constellations and other astrological topics. He's so large that they had to build a special window for him to stick his head through just to use the Observatory's telescope. Out of all of the Coven's Astronomers, he is the most knowledgeable about the constellations and can name all of the ones that are in the sky at any given time - when it is dark out, of course!

XXXPlinius is super friendly, loves to laugh, and enjoys telling jokes and puns relating to astronomy and space. His voice is incredibly soothing, and he often puts other dragons to sleep at his weekly meetings since he does a lot of talking while they're all looking up at the stars. He is good friends with Osgarmithri the Historian. The two like to swap history and astronomy jokes. He also enjoys spending time discussing astronomy with his coworker, Rune, who works at the Observatory with him.

XXXMoss is Plinius's Terra Tortoise. She was a gift from his mate, Celosia. He thinks it quite hilarious that Losi gave him a creature that is so solidly on the ground and even covered in earth. He jokes that Moss is a reminder for him to not keep his head up in the stars all of the time. That wasn't Celosia's intent when she got him the tortoise, but it doesn't bother her if that's what her mate thinks. Thinking that way might actually do him some good!
