Moonshine
Musician/Dancer  It was a full moon night on the Windswept Plateau, the night breeze produced like a rustling caressing the bamboo reeds as it passed, an unnatural stillness enveloping the whole territory in a white and crystalline opalescence. In the sky, curious, the moon watched them, its round face benevolent turned towards the lands of mortals, as if almost listening to the song of nature that made love with the wind. The moon spread a beam of milky light to the world of the living, trying to caress the trickles of wind that naughty playing with vegetation, she also wanted to play, she also wanted to dance in that nocturnal harmony. But when the moon veil touched the damp breeze, the pearly light condensed into little droplets that rested on the thin leaves of the bamboo, reflecting the world around them. When the moon returned to its daytime rest, and the cold breeze gave way to the powerful east wind that predicted the rising of the sun, nobody realized a drop larger than the others, which placid rested on the soft green grass. The light of the daylight bounced off the drop, dividing into a thousand rainbow rays that condensed the moon's gift into an opalescent pearl that could remember an egg born from the love of the Moon with the wind and when Mother Moon returned high in the sky 'egg hatched, safe in the arms of his benevolent astral mother, a little dragon emerged slowly, white as the surface of the moon itself, opalescent like the drops of water carried by the wind: Moonshine was born. |
