As a young child she knew she didn't want to be a mage like her mother (or follow the footsteps of her father). Instead she wanted to join the royal guards. lucky for her, her mother was good friends with the queen and got her into the training "school" right away. Because of her small stature, she had more to prove and a hard time with the other trainers...fallen into abyss...recovery...appointed to guard the royal kids.
