Morbid was always a special boy. He enjoys dabbling in science often, but the majority of his experiments end disastrously. When he dips his toes in chemistry or biology, he intends to create something new and healthy, but instead, he tends to exclusively create... plague. He wants to make a health potion, it infects the drinker. He wants to crossbreed a satin mouse with a duskrat and the offspring are either born horribly mutated or infested with plague. One experiment even infected him with a cutaneous, blood-colored growth all over his body.

In the hopes that it was just his location, Morbid took a pilgrimage to the vast, engineered cities of the Shifting Expanse, learning from experts in their fields and anyone he could pay to teach him, but anything he created was never to his, or his professors', tastes. So he gave up and returned to the Scarred Wastelands and now creates whatever he feels like it. His mind, once a brilliant maze of endless potential, is slipping down hill. He didn't come to this clan until after he began to eat a strong, healthy diet of meat. Grimme recruited him to his subclan.

Morbid enjoys technology, he isn't the best at creating it, more into the wet sciences than technological advances, but gadgets and gizmos entertain him. He sometimes visits Morningstar to see what she's tinkering on, and likes to ask HAL questions to see if he can trip up the A.I.
