56.png Glory should've been a merchant. It was a good job if you had an eye for it, traveling where the wind or the deals took you and getting to see all kinds of amazing, valuable items. Lugging wares around on her back seemed like a much better life than lugging dragons around the Coliseum.

Her parents told her, “Glory, learn a trade. Become a welder like your brother. It'll serve you better than sloshing around in the Mire.” And she stubbornly said, “No!” And now here she was. Fighting was a trade. It was artistic, and other dragons saw that, so why not her parents? Over the course of her life, she had even met other Imperials who considered the art of battle a worthy calling. But maybe her parents had been right. She wondered if it was too late to try being a merchant. Well, she knew she'd at least need some seed money, and the only way for her to get that was by spending more time in the Coliseum—and she'd need a lot of it too, right? Besides, being well-versed in the manners of battle was a good trump card for a merchant, so she should hone her abilities to their finest point. Yes, she would do that...
