Chillflare

Chillflare is named for her quiet and cold nature, but also her fiery temper. Despite these not-so-great character traits, she is a beloved clan member. She tends to isolate herself from the rest of the clan.


Chillflare’s birth was the result of an egg getting sat on and cracking too early. It was the dead of winter in the middle of the Southern Ice Fields. Assuming she probably wouldn’t survive, the elders of her clan forced her parents to leave her behind. She was taken in by a small familiar and cared for by familiars until adulthood, when she left home. She traveled back to the Ashfall Waste. After not even an hour of being there, she bumped into Flamestrike and Glazeno and agreed to join their clan. Chillfire usually kept to herself, so at first she didn’t have much of a desire to communicate with the other dragons. However, something about Flamestrike made her feel like she could trust him. They got along smoothly, and soon began to share their deepest thoughts with each other. Their childhoods has been fairly similar. They had both been abandoned at a young age. They got along quite nicely, and soon began to fall in love.

Days turned to months, and Flamestrike and Chillflare took quite a liking to each other. After confessing their feelings and finding that they were mutual, the two got married. They began to invision raising children and having a little family of their own. Unfortunately, after several tries, they had no eggs, and Chillfire was deemed infertile. Feeling shocked, ashamed, and dissapointed, Chillfire fled.

It took days for Flamestrike to find Chillflare. When he finally did, he promised her that even if they couldn’t have their own hatchlings, they could adopt. They vowed to save dragons from the same scarring childhoods they had to endure and give them a loving family.
