An angry mirror pup who was up for fighting as soon as she was able to.

while mirrors applaud the Hunger, dri was too eager to challenge everyone and everything.

this caused her to be ostracized from the other kids, which only fueled her anger and need to prove herself by fighting.
eventually, it got so bad that she fought even adults.

she ended up picking a fight against the alpha mirror.

it was tolerated a few times, but eventually, it resulted in her and her father being banished from the pack.

her father had no resentment for this, he loved his feisty little girl.

dri still kept her fight-happy nature even as she grew. but it backfired on her again, when she picked a fight with a ridgeback who was stronger than her. she kept coming back to fight the dragon as soon as she recovered from the last beating.

eventually, the ridgeback grew tired of this, followed her home and killed end-gamed her father as a lesson to her.

fueled by anger and grief, she tapped into herself( blacked out/possessed by anger? :thonk: ) and managed to defeat the dragon once and for all.

after the battle, she felt calmer. while she still needed to FIGHT, the urge wasn't as strong as it was before. and instead of letting her grief make her passive and cause her to vow to never fight again, she used it as motivation to get stronger. so that nothing would be able to defeat her, take from her again.

she travels to fight stronger opponents to test her skills, taking odd jobs as a fighter in arenas for other's entertainment. it gets her the fix, it gets her treasure. yet it isn't enough.

Dri met this strange creature during one of her pits fights. The pitmaster, seeing that the up and coming Mirror was hard to defeat, sent the goblin to be her opponent. The two dueled, each one determined to win and too stubborn to admit defeat. It wasn't until the pitmaster took it upon herself to call the match a draw, did the two finally stop their battle. Seeing as how they were strong enough to provide a challenge, they gained one another's respect and came to hang out together, even outside of the arena. Orion is Dri's closest friend as well as a sparring partner. They keep Dri on her toes as well as keeping themself fit and battle ready. While Orion isn't as battle hungry as their partner is, they never back out of a challenge when it comes to fighting. More often than not though, they have to reign Dri in and keep her from fighting herself to collapsing. Inside battle, they are ruthless and determined, yet they have a moral compass. Not killing unless necessary, and refusing to fight when their opponent has clearly been defeated. Outside of fighting, they are stubborn and hot-headed. Not one for words when actions speak louder, they are upfront about how they feel. If they like you, they will protect you, give you gifts and be pleasant. If they dislike you, prepare to be challenged to a fight at every opportunity.

• pinstripe = got this gene because it helps her blend into the surroundings, and it's hard to tell where her scars end and begin. this is what she says when she is asked. in reality, the darker points look good to her, like her skin was dipped in blood.
• bar = this is legit to blend in with the surroundings as well as an intimidation tactic. when she spreads her wings, the patterns make her look big and ferocious. not that she needs help with that, mind you.
• ghost = war paint, seen when she doesn't feel like wearing her headdress. not permanent, as she sometimes doesn't wear her warpaint, so she will not be given the gene.
