Finnegan

"Little gnashing needle teeth against rough anassuming stone; the precious gems remain untouched, but the pebbles of home are the most precious of all."

Finnegan was a shy and timid hatchling. He pushed from his egg very late and was the smallest of the clutch. No one thought he would amount to much or survive the dark twisting world of the Tangled Wood. Everything was so big and scary to him that the thought of leaving the nest made him shake with panic. No one noticed when they left the nesting grounds that one little hatchling did not follow and thus he was unable to find his way home. Nightleaf soon found him, curled up and shivering in the brambles; a lost little hatchling far from home. He has clung close to his adoptive mothers side ever since.

Although fearful of the world outside Foxfire Bramble, Finnegan can be brave when needed. He won't allow others to be mistreated and he has grown into a protective, ferocious guardian. He is a gentle, sweet boy with courage in his heart. As a hatchling, to calm his nerves, he would gnaw on the small stones that littered his den. Now, he hoards vast amounts of glittering gems and pebbles alike. Anything is valuable when it helps to calm the nerves he feels.

Finnegan is a male Guardian dragon, originally from the Driftwood Drag. His familiar is a ghostly Shatterbone Vulture named Shimmer.
