Biography
Sokka has always been a proud dragon. When he first learned the hierarchy of his birth clan, he was furious that his parents were not higher up on the ladder than they were. As soon as he could, he struck out on his own and demanded no less than pure, unchallenged respect from every dragon he crossed paths with.
Unfortunately for him, Sokka met his match when he stumbled into the territory of Bloodmoon and Feyon. The fae pair were very defensive of their territory as they had several eggs in their hatchery and younglings wandering about, and Sokka met them with proud stubbornness.
Bloodmoon demanded that he leave immediately, and when he met her with a smart reply, he was annoyed to be greeted with an even sharper demand and Feyon suddenly crowding his back.
Infuriated by the two, he met them with violence... and was quickly thrown out of the territory.
With an injured pride and wounds that he needed help treating, Sokka lingered around the boundaries of the pair's territory. When he finally found the nerve to wander in again, he was quickly met with aggression.
His pride bubbled up again and he simply reasoned that the only reason he returned was because he wanted a strong mate, and he had met no other fae who was so willing to challenge him. While Bloodmoon was disgusted, Feyon was wildly amused, agreeing to let Sokka join their flight despite Blood's protest.
But Feyon would not make life easy for Sokka.
Sokka was pushed around, forced to watch younglings, patrol beyond his limits, and take up meaningless tasks all in order to please the lead pair. Through this Sokka learned humility. He found that using his strengths to better his flight was the best use of his time rather than constantly hounding on others who did not show him the respect the wanted. In Blood's flight, he earned his keep, and that gave him more pride than he had ever had before.
