embosk - verb - 1. to hide or conceal (something, oneself, etc.) with or as if with foliage, greenery, or the like.
Appearing much more intimidating and ominous than he actually is, Embosk is the clan's primary source of plant-based food. He himself also prefers a vegetarian diet, especially favoring amaranth, usually with a little oil and garlic, maybe some caramelized onions... ooh, or under a pile of stir-fried peppers and cabbage! Mmm...

He looks after several expansive fields in the clan's territory, cultivating different crops through the seasons, and taking care of most harvesting and processing himself. Most of the spoils of each harvest are kept for the clan, but any extra grain is usually bought up by centaurs right away; something else he handles himself. The orchards have recently been handed over, with relief, to the care of new clan member Ratoon.

Embosk's mate is Domatia, the vine-bound shamanic disciple of the clan. He dotes on her whenever he's not in the fields, bringing her water and any additional food she needs, and curling around her to sleep during the Plateau's mild nights with all the devotion of a guardian for their charge. The greenery tied to his limbs and body remind him of her, and have the added bonus of looking cool and repelling any biting insects that might be hanging around in the fields.

His familiar keeps Domatia company during the day, snacking on the smaller bugs that gather near her.
