NINOHU the GULLIBLE
"Be cautious of who you trust."
RELATIONS NAME: Ambrose NAME: Lokoshin NAME: Capucine |
HISTORY
When she was younger, Ninohu hated the colour of her scales. The other dragons were so much prettier than herself, she would always think as she laid in her lair, feeling sorry for herself. She was chatting with her clanmate Lokoshin when the topic of changing came up, and Ninohu said she wanted nothing more than to change her colours. Lokoshin got a grim look on her face, looking around. "You should know already how dangerous it is to change your body like that. You could get sick." The Imperial warned, but her warning fell on deaf ears. "I understand that there's a possibility you can get ill, but that can't possibly happen to me!" The Mirror said, taking off to go get one of these "life-changing" scrolls. After searching and asking around, Ninohu was referred to a Pearlcatcher called Ambrose, who was said to peddle the scrolls. The shifty Pearlcatcher had no issue taking the Mirror's money and giving her the scatterscroll. Making her way back to her clan, Ninohu called her friend Lokoshin back to her lair to wittness the life changing event. Within moments of opening the scroll and reading the runes, the colour of her scales began changing in hue, startling the observing Imperial. After a few moments, Ninohu's new colours began to show. Elated, the Mirror ran past her stunned friend, and into the sunlight to better see what her colours were. As she ran, her fingers began to stiffen, and a few scales started peeling off. Her head started spinning, causing her to lose her balance. She went down, then everything went dark. Ninohu woke up in a straw bed in Capucine's medicine lair, a blanket draped over her and a cool compress wrapped around her head. She blinked her four eyes and looked around her surroundings. Was it a dream? The lair was darkened by the drapes that were keeping the room cool for the Skydancer's patients. "You're awake? Good to see it." A soft voice called out from another part of the room. A small glowing gem appeared from around a corner, lighting a small area around it up. "Don't move around too much, you hit your head on a rock after fainting. How do you feel?" The Skydancer drew a match from a pouch and lit a lantern on a nearby stone desk. Ninohu squinted at the light, curling up a bit more under her blanket. "I feel, uh, stiff. Like, my claws and legs hurt as if I'd been stuffed in a box for days." She continued describing how she felt, and as she went on, Capucine's expression began to grow from hopeful to worried, fairly quickly. |
