Bauble

The Well Spook

Bauble’s job is to flit about the underground wells occasionally dipping down for a quick sample here and there to make sure the supply is fresh and not tampered with in any way. For those unaccustomed to visiting the wells on their own she can be quite the scare, in fact many large dragons have been spooked into falling into the pools of water by Bauble as she dives and zooms by.

Her job doesn’t seem like much, but she seems to have it down to a fine art with how seriously she takes it, always keeping herself busily moving from one pool of water to the next, her nest filled to the brim with various charts and water testing supplies and purifiers.

Aquafina is her boss and she will often chitter away at his ear her disapproval of him sleeping in the pool that the clan’s main water source flows from, not that him being there truly affects the overall health of the water supply, he’s clean enough of a cave dweller for that, but she still finds it very annoying and is always trying to convince him to slide his lazy butt over to another less important pool.
