The bright sun glared through the ice and into her eyes, hissing the dragon tried to instinctively move her wing over her eyes. As time went on the ice had melted enough to leave the dragons stuck in the alive. They could move their eyes, make sounds, and starve... Everything was moving within their blood again. Unfortunately for them, dragon's lived for centuries, even more, they could live decades without food.
Wavecrest was left to the loud noises of the glacier and her memories, she could still recall the life of the village before their island was cursed and sunk into the ocean below... Dragons were always talking, the fishing market absolutely thrived! They had an incredible trading market... They were some of the top trading dragons within the Avarai region.
She didn't know why they were punished in such way, no dragon did. Their king fled the island as soon as the ice set in... Many dragons, such as herself refused to leave. She didn't regret it however, it was her home. And she was no coward.
