Asher

Abandoned as a hatchling, Asher washed up on the shores of Dragonhome. When he regained consciousness, he found a young interloper standing over him. His name was Jerome and he too was an orphan. They became fast friends and traveled all over the world together.

Eventually, the pair wandered into the Windswept Plateau. As they made their way through the fields, a mirror female suddenly swept across their path. The instant he set his eyes on her, Asher fell in love. As for Groa, she hardly noticed them as she was in pursuit of a hare.

Catching her scent, Asher followed Groa back to the lair. There he introduced himself to the clan leaders and begged permission to court their daughter. Dodger and Aisling deferred for if there was any permission to be given, it would be Groa's choice. Privately, they did believe it was an amusing turn of events as they were well aware of Groa's disinterest in romance of any kind.

Undeterred, Asher earned his keep in the clan by whipping up delicious meals, a talent he'd fostered on his many travels. With each meal, the clan grew to appreciate Asher and welcomed him warmly in the clan. Though his heart still longed for Groa, he grew to love life in the Breezy Steppe for his own sake. He had found a place to rest his wandering feet.

As for Groa? Maybe there is something to be said about winning one's heart through their stomach.

Asher is a quiet soul. He doesn't talk much; he prefers to offer a listening ear.
