Some would assume the ability to predict and see the outcomes of what the future holds would be a gift, right? To Halvor it's not. He sees his power as a curse. He's always frantically trying to help anyone who he sees as having an unfortunate or threatening future, and most of the time just tires himself out with trying to stop something he has no power in stopping. He doesn't believe in destiny. He thinks he has the power to change what he predicts, even if he's never proven that he can. He studies and learns more about how and if he can prevent the bad, and force the good, but nothing has worked. He keeps trying however, and sees to it that he never stops trying to prevent what bad he envisions.

When not focusing on stopping the inevitable, Halvor can be found either passed out on an open book, or writing out his struggles in hopes that one day, those who possess his powers after him can find out a way to stop the bad that comes in the future.

 

  origins.

Even as a hatchling Halvor knew he was different. He would warn his fellow siblings of bad decisions before they even knew to do them. He would advise others to stay away from spots he knew would bring them trouble. He tried. He really did. The only thing was that no one listened. They all did about their daily life and left Halvor to watch as what he just predicted came true. It frustrated him, and soon he stopped warning those around him.

As Halvor grew, his powers did as well. More detailed predictions of things that would happen in months, not only a few hours. He learned that his seeing ability was rare, and decided to try and learn more. Most of his adolescence was spent in a library, reading and taking notes.

Once grown and ready to be seen off, Halvor searched for those who would believe him. Who would understand his warnings and take them more seriously. It didn't take long for him to find a clan to fit in, and he now lives here, keeping up on his studies and still trying to prevent the bad.
