His mother's name was Reputation. And sure as hell, Paimon has one. Stranded or orphaned, who knows, next thing Pai knew was that they had ended up in the Covenant of the Plague a notorious cult masked as an orphanage. Their ways were severe. After a while Paimon knew that he had to find a way to break out.

Practically illiterate and still painfully young, Paimon managed to stage his escape and ended up pretty much in the wilderness, attempting to reach the light territory. On their way they met few peculiar characters, one of them with a name even more peculiar. Nerium.

Their relationship was odd to begin with, they fought a lot. At first provoked, later deliberate. Then, Paimon heard from Nerium no more. At least for a while. In the meanwhile Pai has grown a mountain of an imperial, their size outmatching that of others. For a while he had chased the wind with the great hunt, until running into his old friend once more.
