Chuuya is as evasive as the summer shade, ever shifting,ever changing like the shadows themselves. his black and white feathers weaving hypnotically through reality like a leopard does through grass. light purple eyes watch with curious confidence
He was born into a Wildclaw clan. this was no normal though,this was one of the strongest forces in the realm. they were nomadic,so as a hatchling he was forced to walk,run,fly and swim through unpleasant weather every day of his life. soon,weather didn't bother him. he was a strong one,unlike the others who were left behind,died,or killed off by the seniors. his parents were very high ranking and his mother was the sister of the leader. he was taught to fight before he could fly. he was pitted against the leader's children,his siblings,and others that ranked low and high but were the best in combat. the first thing he learned was pain. the next was victory. every night,before the others made him fight someone,he would practice against dummies and just train for hours. he fought his way to independence.
Chuuya didn't fit in. he fought good,but he was never one of them. he was always seen as the darkness in the light,the Silent One. he didn't talk to anybody. for years,he never talked at all unless he answered commands from his superiors,which weren't many. he was always the at the front of offense parties to kill game so the clan could eat. while the clan were trecking through the Ice Realm with their wings half frozen and complaining about the cold,Chuuya walked next to the leader seemingly unaffected. all the others could see of him through the blizzard where the black markings covering his body. he decided he needed to leave. he'd fought his way to independence and respect,but he had no future in this clan. he needed to find somewhere else. he knew he could leave just by telling the leader he was going to strike off on his own. he'd been everywhere,there had to be something more than this. and so he left,off to the Shadowbinder's realm
The Wildclaw was almost unmatched in combat prowess,equal only to Everdark. the two met one day and fought,but neither could seriously injure the other. they danced the deadly twists and turns of battle for hours and came out with cuts,bruises,and bite marks all over. they reached a certain point where they understood each other better than many friends do. the Mirror spoke first,licking clean a wound on his forearm "you fight well" he panted,their gazes meeting. "my name is Everdark. i believe you have a place among my dragons" Chuuya seemed somewhat surprised and a tad grateful,his eyes calmly regarding Everdark with something akin to friendship. he has never met a dragon who could rival him in battle,and a dragon such as this must be someone worth getting to know. he is a loner,but why not? he nodded,smiling softly "i am Chuuya. i would be honored" he flared his wings,and in a few seconds,the two were airborne,flying side by side
he fit here. his place was NightClan. the dragons,the beasts,the things they did everyday to cheer him up and shed shine light into his darkened soul. if he fits,he would sits. he didn't reveal much of his past,but he helped those who wanted to learn the art of battle,and he did it well. he passed on his skills and used his own for the benefit of NightClan. he was happy here,being the mysterious shadow sneaking around with his pack.
it took him a few weeks to notice that his soulmate was nearby. he started getting a warm feeling when he was around the other dragons,but he didn't know where it was coming from or what it meant,so he ignored it. sometimes he was with his friends but the feeling wasn't there,and he soon realized it must be coming from a dragon. Chuuya kept it a secret,but eventually it got too strong to ignore. he followed his instincts and found himself in Emerald's lab. he struck up a conversation with her and found it surprisingly easy to talk to the Imperial. he naturally felt that he should be by her side. it was the best thing that had happened to him since leaving his birth clan.
