Acon grew up with a small clan full of only guardians. When he came of age, he left leave to find his charge. He followed the line of fate all the way to Namira, who at the time was traveling with a trading caravan, trying to find adventure wherever she could. Acon traveled with the caravan for a while (they couldn't just say no to a hulking guardian as a traveling companion).

One night, while the caravan was settling down for rest, it was attacked by a particularly dangerous beastclan. Acon made protecting Namira his top priority. In the morning, when only a handful of traders and almost no supplies remained, the traders seemed distant from the guardian. They turned around to head back to the previous trading post, and when they got there, he soon understood why. Once there, the leader of the caravan went quiet for awhile, and Acon noticed that, whenever he was around the traders, they all fell silent. Namira had a similar treatment, but she wasn't regarded as... coldly.

On the third day at the trading post, Namira had had enough. She confronted the traders, demanded they explain their silence. The ensuing shouting match ended with the traders angrily blaming Acon for letting their friends die. They said he should have saved them all, instead of some useless fae who wasn't even a trader. She was just using up supplies, they said. Namira fumed at this. She said it wasn't her fault, it wasn't Acon's fault, it was the fault of the beastclan. But they weren't listening. She marched off, and noticed Acon was gone.

Acon had walked off by himself, into the wilderness. He felt so guilty. How could those traders blame him? He was just trying to protect his charge. Namira found him sitting alone, contemplating the ground under his feet. At that lonely, windy spot on the hill, Acon finally told her who his charge was. Namira suspected it, but the realization still shook her at bit. After awhile, they decided to adventure together. Soon, they both developed strange powers.

Acon has a unique power that makes him completely immune to most forms of magic. That, combined with his physical strength and power, makes him a force to be reckoned with. Combined with Namira's power of Knowing, they became a powerful duo.

They began their clan as a safe haven for those cast out from the rest of the world. They heard of the Omens, and knew they had to use their unique powers to contain their dangerous power. Soon, though, they realized the Omens had their own desires and aversions, just like any other dragon. They used their powers to learn of and control the Omens, and temper their awesome power. This might have been a bid for power, for safety, or a foolhardy wager. Either way, they used their combined power to control the Omens and build up a clan around them.

Acon heads the Council with Namira. While she handles much of the organization, he is the muscles of the pair. He uses her knowledge to broker deals and make wagers with the beings they control, and he, being immune to most magic and abilities of the Omens, isn’t afraid to threaten or fight them if they don’t do as they’re told. In addition, his immunity and Namira’s knowledge frightens them. They were used to being unstoppable and godlike before they joined the clan. Acon and Namira make no decisions without each other's input. The opinion of their mate is their top priority, above the Council, above the clan.

Mate: Namira

Acon and Namira's children
Alitha and her mate, Milo, are now happily working for the Plaguebringer together.
