Ariox

Born on the edge of the Tangled Wood and Sunbeam Ruins, Ariox found himself the victim of a curse set on his grandmother Auria. An only sibling thanks to a strangler vine attack, Ariox grew up quickly after he and Zephyr had their own nest. He spent all the time he could with his five children, though that time was, eventually, cut horribly short. Afterwards, he did his best to protect lone survivor Arya and her descendants, culminating in the final battle with the Darkmage. It ended up being Ariox who had the chance to smash the Darkmage's phylactery, and he took it.

He followed Sakurako back to the latter's homeland in the Viridian Labyrinth, and arrived just in time to see the Darkmage's Emperor attack the clan. After the fateful spat between Titania and Ignarox, he stayed with Titania's group with the idea of returning to the rest of his clan, once they were either settled or able to move on. However, the ensuing ritual cut away that chance. With his wings and tail lost, nudibranch-like growths sprouting from his body, and a newfound ability to breathe underwater, Ariox patrols the underwater section of the Naturebound's cave, a brightly-colored fish amidst the dark.
