Hello....

I am a former member of the Royal Family.

I am Creme, former princess of clan Wafflevixen. My mother Waffle lead us since the clan's emigration from the Viridian Labyrinth. That was well before my time. My father was a lesser male who lived within the clan. I did not socialize with him much. I am proud to have inherited my mother's beautiful plumage and graceful physique as a Skydancer.

I did have a few siblings, but they have all gone away to serve the Lightweaver. My appearance alone was suitable to rule amongst the clan's monarchy. My brothers and sisters could have only hoped for a little favor at best.

I would have succeeded my mother as Matriarch, Queen of our clan. All treated me with much deference. However, that respect was given, not earned. They loved me because they loved my mother. Some day, I vowed, I will make my own mark upon this clan; I will win their loyalty as an individual.

My days were filled with combat lessons taught by my mother and my uncle, Bundt. When not fighting, I was learning my numbers and history with aunt Kindle and uncle Hearth. When I was bored with it all, I would follow uncle Cheesecake out gathering for our foodstuffs. I was not allowed to assist, but I would watch.

I am a proud, but not unkind dragon. I accepted that most were lesser than me. My mother, my aunt, and my uncles were all that I treated as my elders. From everyone else I expected swift obedience. I held my mother on a pedestal, and I did my best to be worthy of her love and pride. Some days I wish I could just be a daughter to her, but she and I have gone our separate ways, along with the rest of the clan.

While she has found a home elsewhere, I, sadly, wandered into the Tangled Wood and fell into the lair of the Masquerade. I was accepted quickly, though I am one of the lowest-ranked dragons here.

I hope to learn how to prosper in this new clan, and perhaps someday replace Reflection as clan Matriarch, with my mate, whoever he may be, at my side.

I have a long way to go, though.

My clan has drifted apart. I will not allow this clan to do the same.
