Music is everything to Nix. He is most at home when he is alone, far from civilization, leaning against a pine and strumming his beloved balalaika. Unfortunately for Nix, this is not exactly a sustainable career. Instead, Nix works as a welding inspector, often travelling from clan to clan to approve their structures. The upside? He gets to see the world in his free time (although he would have you think his job as an inspector is his “work on the side.”)

As one might expect, Nix merely tolerates his job. His apathy knows no bounds. Those who only know him through his work might think of him as rude, harsh, or even just plain boring. To his closest friends, however, he is a hopeless romantic. A visionary, even. Waiting for that rare smile to cross his face as he plucks out a soulful tune is a gift, not to mention the even more exceptional crooning which one may hear drifting on the wind over the roar of a waterfall. He may parade as a lone wolf, but nothing would make Nix happier than settling down with a drake, dam, or kite who appreciates his music, and perhaps even sings along.
