Biography

Engulfed in Flames

When Uvur first arrived, he was already horribly strict and distant. He was hired by Grimmeg to protect the mirror and his family. He was also hired to protect the healer, Pydot, from harm, while the clan was still small and lost within the Abiding Boneyard. He acted as a shield for all of them, honing his defensive capabilities and relying on counterattacks to defend the others.

When Uvur started working alongside Pydot in the Coliseum to help Grimmeg survive in battle, the imperial was convinced that the spiral was actually a female due to Pydot's high-pitched and rather feminine voice. After sharing many battles together and witnessing how the spiral was excellent at keeping morale high and being diligent with mending wounds, Uvur found himself falling for the spiral.

One day, Uvur pulled Pydot aside after a particularly fierce battle against a stubborn mossy pohip. The imperial confessed his feelings to Pydot only to earn a small giggle from the spiral. Pydot admitted that he was actually a male. However, Uvur, taken aback at first, was not deterred. After a rather long talk that carried over the span of several weeks, the two agreed to be together in secret as Uvur was uncertain about how the rest of the clan would accept two male dragons being together.

After beginning to share their lives together, Uvur and Pydot celebrated their relationship by gifting each other outfits. Uvur was gifted a set of armor that he had his eyes set on for the longest time. In return, he had given Pydot a set of mage's attire that matched the spiral's colors.

It was also around this time that Uvur began to try and dicipline Grimmeg's daughter, Dakerryrth. His employer's daughter was unruly and attacked almost everything in sight. He put the chaotic mirror through a strict schedule in hopes of training the hostility out of her.

Despite his efforts, he was not able to make a single dent in Dakerryrth's violent nature, and he had to admit defeat.

Uvur found that his defensive way of attacking was not good enough. He decided to coat his wings in a highly flammable oil that he could ignite with his fiery breath. With his wings looking like those belonging to a phoenix, he doubled down on his defensive training until he reached his prime and continued to fight alongside Pydot and Grimmeg, leading them to victory in the Mire.

Uvur knew he could not keep fighting forever, so when Sawa and Sako came to him with their newly hatched son, Takumi, he decided to train the young koi at an early age to take his place in the Coliseum to protect Grimmeg and Pydot. He was very strict with Takumi, very much like how he was with Dakerryrth. However, the young koi was far more keen to listen to his mentor, and Pydot had joined in on helping Uvur train the little koi. When Takumi had finally grown up, Uvur gave up his position on the team to the koi.

Uvur began to relax, watching over the clan rather than going off into the glory of battle and welcoming Pydot back every time the team returned from their battles in the Coliseum. He even began to finally let his cold and distant personality break down, and he began to show a much more gentle and caring personality.

He also accepted to play the role as the fire representative since he was no longer fighting. He even convinced Pydot to take up being the nature representative as the spiral had been considering it for a long time.
