Gaea
- Clan Founder - Council Member - Herbalist
________________________________________________________________
Intelligent / Firm / Understanding
Gaea is the matriarch of her clan, and all dragons must show her respect or
risk repercussions. She spent her early days roaming the wilderness, searching for nothing in particular and needing the aid of no one. One day, while hunting for insects in the Gladeveins, she came across a severely injured Guardian male. Though it was against her better judgement, Gaea decided to nurse the male back to health.
With the help of many other Faes, Gaea was able to move the male - whose
name was Neptune - into her den, where she then proceeded to care for him for nearly a year. Neptune was so grievously injured that for nearly a month he was conscious for only a few minutes a day. However, as time passed, Neptune began to recover under Gaea's strict motherly attention, and the two dragons developed a somewhat mis - matched affection for each other. Gossip of the new couple raged for months among the Faes - and quite possibly the Guardians - until interest gradually dwindled before moving on to the next scandal.
Neptune and Gaea ultimately became official mates and initiated their own clan,
entitled the Clan of the Summer Dragon - or simply NatsuNoDoragon for short. While the matter of Gaea being a Fae at first made communication between the two dragons somewhat difficult, over time Neptune became relatively adept at interpreting Gaea's mostly nonverbal language.
Proving herself a capable matriarch, Gaea now has many servants to go about
her matriarchal duties for her, leaving her free to gather and study herbs and local fauna. Neptune harbors some concerns over her herbal concoctions; due to previous negative interactions with the Gladekeeper, Gaea still bears a lingering grudge towards the Nature deity, and her mate sometimes worries that she is perhaps attempting to brew up an herb-based toxin with which to bring about the Gladekeeper's downfall.

Leafe
_______________________________________________________________
Friendly / Bumbling / Slow
Gaea met her familiar, Leafe, by chance when he accidentally blundered right
into her face. The tiny creature immediately developed a liking for the reserved Fae, and Gaea simply never bothered to tell him to leave. Leafe has since proven a helpful companion, and will aid Gaea in her search for various herbs and flowers. He enjoys riding on Gaea's head, where, if he holds very still, he is often mistaken for a plain tree leaf. Gaea suspects that this is an impression that Leafe takes great amusement in cultivating.
