Battlemaw found Sparrowhawk, injured, where the Viridian Labyrinth meets the Tangled Wood. After straying too far across the border, the high flying wildclaw had been brutally attacked. Battlemaw made use of the opportunity, using him to bargain for refuge with the Rogues in the Scarred Wasteland. Battlemaw needed to keep the charade of marriage up, and Sparrowhawk was indebted to her, so they had a quiet ceremony under the cover of night. Permanently weakened by his injuries, he was assigned to be a sentry, flying around the rogues' territory every day, sounding the call at the first sign of danger. He knows Battlemaw doesn't love him, but he is eternally loyal to her for saving his life. He sometimes helps Legacy with the hatchlings, as the gentle tundra understands him, and he loves the little ones.
