______ Deep within the mountains of Earth's Greatwyrm Breach lies a cavernous hollow carved into the side of a cliff. Once a meeting place for a group of prophetic hermits that had shunned the rest of dragonkind, it has since been abandoned (likely because its occupants have been dead for millennia). Contained within this musty, dark cave are hundreds upon hundreds of heretical texts and volumes: scrolls upon which blasphemous writings concerning the modern-day elemental deities were scribbled feverishly, as if those writing them were in a trance-like state. The prophets of eons ago denounced the eleven elemental deities in favour of worshipping a singular ancient deity they believed was more powerful than The Eleven combined - a creature with a monstrous appearance that held control over life and death, war and peace. This creature was the progenitor to the deities, who soon betrayed Him and took the world into their own claws. Of course, these texts were incredibly forbidden, and the ostracized prophets soon died out - in fact, most of them were labeled heretics and were killed although a small percentage died from natural causes. With them died the cultish religion, thus the cave and its contents faded from minds and evolved into a simple ghost story told to hatchlings. Inquisitors had been sent out to destroy these sacrilegious, mocking texts but the cave could never be located - only the prophets had known its exact location. The cave sat with all its contents, unfound and undisturbed, for thousands of solar cycles, until a petty thief found himself becoming part of a ghost story.

______ Tavin's profession was simple - he would rob people amongst trade routes in search of any valuables he could sell or trade for food, and resorted to scavenging if he had not found victims during the day. Although most wouldn't have described him as violent or without boundaries - Tavin only took what he needed to survive, no more and no less. While scavenging alone, surrounded by the rocky outcroppings of the Greatwyrm Breach, he stumbled upon a dark cave and, thinking there could be valuables hidden away inside, he made his way up to the entrance. Finding only what he could describe as "useless garbage", the texts and scrolls of the prophets long gone, the disheartened Wildclaw rifled through countless drawers and shelves in search of anything of value. Coincidentally, he stumbled upon a scroll that would change his life forever.

______ Mumbling to himself about how there was nothing but trash in this cave, Tavin chanced a look at a peculiar scroll that seemed to have an odd air surrounding it. A distinct humming, like the vibration of an engine, filled the space in the cave as the dragon read the first few sentences of the blasphemy. The text lit up with a dangerous blue aura as Tavin felt a deep ache fill the very essence of his mind, and the Wildclaw was forced to take a few steps back from the document. He was blinking uncontrollably as what seemed like a thousand voices filled his head, turning it into an arena in which the voices could echo and bounce off each other at will. A milky white began to coat his vision and glaze his eyes, and the last piece of him - his utter fear - was in an instant gone with the wind. Tavin's mind was no longer his own. It was now a blank slate filled with the hollow mutterings of what he could barely understand were the prophets of days long past. A single word, repeated a thousand times by equally as many voices, convalescing into what could only be described as a synchronized uproar, only repeated one word. Abraxas. Abraxas. Abraxas. He had been deemed Abraxas, and he was to bring about the Singularity.

______ Scrambling to stuff as many documents and volumes of the heretical texts into his sack as possible, Abraxas barely recognized the prophets were whispering that the cave was ready to be found by him. It had waited millennia, but it was now time. After exiting the mountain hollow, Abraxas wandered the mountains with only the voices of the prophets entering his awareness. His former personality, ambitions, and beliefs had been stripped away - reducing him to the barest form of sentient dragon. Finding him wandering disheveled and mumbling to himself, dragons from a nearby village decided to take him in for the night and provide food. However, while Abraxas sat and stared, only repeating the words of the prophets, the villagers soon found in his bag the stacks of blasphemous documents that detailed the end of The Eleven. They joined together and attempted to make the odd wanderer leave, but they never got the chance to force him out.

______ With the high-pitched and deafening white noise of the prophets, who he now understood were now screaming in unison at him, Abraxas spared no one. The only awareness he possessed was that he wanted the tonal screaming of the prophets to cease, and cease it did when he was the last one standing. Breathing hard as he gathered his things, Abraxas set off into the night once more, again whispering only in the tongues of the prophets with a thousand-yard stare - seeing the prophetic visions his predecessors must have witnessed millennia before him. Many have taken this wanderer in, but there are now stories about the dragon in the mountain that speaks in a strange way and seems to possess no ounce of awareness, either about himself or his surroundings.

______ Abraxas possesses little personality of his own, often only able to hear the voices of the prophets amalgamated in his head. They tell him that he must periodically offer his blood to the deity [REDACTED] in order to gain favour, but in turn He will reward the sole Follower with immunity from self-inflicted wounds and an astoundingly slow aging process. He carries with him the heretical texts of the prophets, and the chorus of whispers in his head forbid him to show them to anyone they deem unworthy - if he disobeys and someone unauthorized views the documents, thus begins the deafening screaming of a thousand voices, blending into one torturous white noise. However, while Abraxas can read the writings perfectly fine, those deemed 'unworthy' will only see what appears to be lunatic scribblings. Frequently, though, the words of the prophets will sound unintelligible and scrambled to Abraxas - some outside dragons have found him trying to persuade inanimate objects or animals (such as rocks, lamps, dogs, and chickens) to read the scrolls in his bag because he thought the prophets were telling him they were Chosen. This lack of clarity and translation frequently results in the angry screeching of the prophets, only heard by Abraxas. But he literally, with his lack of awareness and basic dragon qualities, cannot decipher the difference or the context behind what is sentient and what is not. Some who have watched him say that they can barely consider him a dragon because of this.

______ Abraxas is currently staying within the walls of Andromeda and Valoran's city until he inevitably sets off again, but the clan leaders cannot help but feel unnerved by his presence for some reason.
