Biography
S Y B I L
scientist/ambassador
time is leaking, coming out of the walls! it’s ruining the carpets.
— — —
-Sybil. Once, he was a great Deepseer. And now, this.
-He concocts all kinds of things in his laboratory. Many with blood. Some with things far worse.
-The… his experiments, dumped in the quarantine zone. They are so monstrous that the Plaguebringer’s influence has done little to change them.
-The other scientist, in the caverns of Thundersong. He… loves him? He thinks. His mind is scattered, like shards of a mirror. They reflect some form of affection for him.
-He remembers the great songs of the ocean. The prophecies he would hear. The sunken cathedrals of whalebone where he would call out what he had heard in the depths. That was all so long ago. His mind turns back to his work. He can never live that life again.
-He swears he still hears the whispers of the Tidelord in the burbling of the sink.
-The day the Tidelord vanished, he washed up on the shore between the Starfall Isles and the Wasteland. The crystals began to form not long after.
-The part of him that retains rationality worries for Admiral Luperis. He has loved the man since long before he set foot on dry land.
-He once clawed out his own eye to prevent his prophecies from being corrupted by the Shade. Now he knows it did him no good.

-he/they/it
-highly specific aesthetic; whale skeletons turned into grandiose churches, decorated with ribbons of kelp and brightly colored tube worms nestled between the ribs. prophecies muddled by darkness, strange dreams and stranger skies. slow descent into madness. the rancid smell of some unknown chemical boiling away in a beaker. monstrous experiments, just because you wanted to see what would happen. scattered thoughts, of love and your past and other things you can’t quite name. learning to feel at peace between the glow of radiation and the dark of the night sky.
