Riku is Thunder Hollow's ambassador to the Earth flight. Like many of her element, she takes solace in the concept of home, and she finds that the ambassador trade gives her time to appreciate both her ancestral home and her chosen one.
She has always felt an aching desire to fly, but the tremendous length of her wings combined with the weight of the opalescent plates on them has rendered her flightless. The most she can acheive is a glide, and she can only do this with help from a specially-designed wing brace that locks her wings in an open position when she flares them outwards. She has been known to hike to the top of the Cliffs and glide down again and again whenever she has no other obligations, enjoying a small taste of flight. When abroad, she also harnesses her magic to summon stone spires beneath herself before leaping off into a glide. She primarily travels in this manner whilst out on ambassadorial missions, though she does take boats across water for fear of drowning from the weight of her opals should she falter as she soars.
Riku has a tremendous creative streak, which she channels into a variety of hobbies. A particular favorite of hers is interior design, which she offers as a service to clanmates in exchange for a small amount of treasure. She also has a keen eye for painting and often strengthens bonds with allied Earth clans by supplying them with commemorative watercolor paintings of Thunder Hollow's vistas.
