Hephaestus The Flaming Forgemaster Fire. A blazing heat. A power that can and has been harnessed by many a dragon, using it for mass destruction, capable of razing entire clans with one small spark. In the right hands, however, once tamed, the flame may be used to create exceptional beauty. The dragon Hephaestus utilizes his power over the element to light his forge, heating the metal of the armour and weapons he creates. The orange glow that emanates from his home and workshop never seems to dim, a strangely welcoming sight to the warriors, among which he is highly respected for providing them with the extra protection needed during the heat of battle, and has surely prevented many from passing through the veil. Chosen by the Virtuoso for his talents with creation, this does not mean he cannot handle himself in a fight. With a command over the blazing element above that of the others in the clan, his mechanical armour is constantly fuelled, lending him greater strength when needed. Though generally mild mannered, Hephaestus’ temper has been known to flare quickly, causing other members of the council to be somewhat wary of what they say. After all, who knows how hot his fire burns...? |
