Biography
Even though Summer is not a traditional Tree dragon I thought he really represented the season well. He and his mate Autumn are some of my favorite dragons.
Summer and Autumn have both been trained as "Mire flyers" because Clan Dovah feels they are honor bound to serve Gladekeeper and many young members want to serve her. As many are aware a Mire flyer's goal is to be the only trainer among two recruits while fighting long hours in the boundary between plague and nature.
The issue with this is that Summer and Autumn never seemed to have time to be with each other. They talked to Belva, and made the arrangements that even though they are "supposed" to train 2 recruits instead in Clan Dovah when training is in these areas Summer and Autumn will train the recruits and because Ridgebacks have their natural fear of water Belva and Bel will continue to train in the Kelp beds.

Summer is a fun-loving jokster of the clan and as typical of his breed has a habit of "borrowing" things from his neighbors that they are likely to never get back. Autumn just shakes her head when he comes in with another thing that gets added to one of their shelves. interestingly enough though, their home is very tidy. Summer knows where all of these things are, they are his collection of things his "hoard", as dragons so often are said to have. Why he left plague for nature he never really explained, but "The Four" welcome all and he now trains the young who dedicate their lives to the Gladekeeper, so he's faithful to her completely.
