Topaze

Part of coalt nobility Topaze basically ran from home.

Convinced she was promised to a great future for a travelling seer had divulged this prophecy at her birth "the stars will fall from the sky to crown this child, lighting shall be her sword and her claws will rip a new path for generations to come"...
Of course hatchling Changeling laughed really, really hard when she first heard of it, causing what seemed to be a simple childish fight at the time... Only as time went on, Topaze open and imaginative mind clashed more and more against Changeling's down to earth attitude... Their seemingly childish and armless banters turned into the long and sometimes electrifying rivalry that brought them to meet CherryBomb years later...



A short while after she received her mage runes that showed she was now a full fledged mage her parents decided to find her a mate. Topaze still fresh out of magic school was furious and the roars coming out of her family's lair that night seemed as loud and dangerous as lightning. She realized her parents would not change their old aristocratic mind, she had always been told about family honour and duty as long as she could remember, but she also knew that marrying a stranger wasn't part of the life she wanted for herself.
So she flew out of her cave as the sun rose to never return, she knew her family had connection all over the Shifting Expanse and that she also never ever wanted someone to decide her future for her ever again. Considering all this she decided to join the most joyful and care-free dragons of the world and go live in the Windswept Plateau.



Of course Changeling followed her and Windsinger knows what an adventure that was... To be ambushed by mercenaries while trying to cross The Ashfall Waste... To then have to pass thought the Sea of a Thousand Currents when she hates water... She was reluctant, but since they were dragons waiting for them at sea from The Southern Icefield send by her parents to bring her home, she had to bear with it. Pirates really... They were probably promised tons of fossils by her parents, they had inherited tons of them from an old great great grandfather and had wanted a chance to get rid of them the moment they got them...
She learned stargazing from a merchant originating from the Starfall Isles while she was lost in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Changeling of course decided to learn the *cough* noble *cough* art of wrestling instead from the merchant's mate...
Not that it's not useful, and on the run it got them out of tricky situations, but she was still a feathered and shining lady that would rather go take a bath in the sea than dirtying her gorgeous feathers...



Now she gives classes about astronomy to the hatchlings of the clan, dream about true love and goes to assist CherryBomb and Changeling, for a party of three they became, and a party of three they will go down as.
