Biography

Her arrival was heralded in a dream shared by both Fayde and Mystri. In this dream were visions of a changing world and a wider reality unknown to the dragons thus far. When she came it was as a falling star rocketing from out of the dark and sundering the land itself to mark her arrival and presence in the world.
The reality of her coming wasn’t far off from the dream. The shared vision lead the temple dragons out into the night as Marvel fell into the world from the vast darkness beyond. They watched an object streak across the night sky and felt it’s impact from afar. They travelled at great speed to the point of that impact guided by the vision. What they found was wonder, Marvel shimmering with cosmic light wrapped in a cocoon of gold and crystal. She awoke in moments, the cocoon unwinding and melting into an outfit about her. She radiated energy and the tempered fury of the cosmos. It was intimidating and scary even for dragons of the temple.
They welcomed Marvel to their world and offered her a place. She accepted tentatively, her decision made from some deeper understanding. From there she joined the temple as a member after spending time with the dragons and seeing their mission.
Unlike its other members Marvel is given a special place in the temple hierarchy. She is not beholden to anyone and is allowed to come and go as she means. This is partially because she is not like other dragons and partially because no one could make her do anything even if they wanted too. Even Samhain has little power over her as Marvel’s heart is true and her purpose pure.
Marvel is a wonder from beyond. She claims to have little memory of her origin, but understands her purpose is to help bring peace and fight evil in all its forms. She is an answer to the powers that seek absolute dominion or destruction, a gift perhaps from the universe itself. While she resembles a dragon species native to this world, Fayde and the temples other scholars strongly believe she is not a dragon at all.
Marvels power is unrivaled in the temple. Despite her diminutive frame she is faster, stronger and tougher than even the temples most vetted members. She is nia invulnerable, with the power to create and control an unknown energy force for various purposes. She can heal wounds and even boost her allies abilities. She can also manifest beams of hyper destructive energy.
She is an honorary member of the Ultra Dragons within the Temple factions and enjoys missions with the other temple heroes. She spends much of her time however away from the temple, dealing with various tasks as needed. She is an effective weapon against evil to say the least and her services are in high demand.
The metal construct which was found in the cocoon with her appears to be a super computer of sorts and with Marvel’s permission the temple has been able to use its stores of information to glean great insights into previously unknown science and magic. This has boosted their already formidable technology considerably.
