Biography
Morgana allowed a growl to rise in her throat when she caught sight of the letter.
These letters came often, especially now, when the warm weather had just arrived and food was plentiful. It was in these times that everybody was in a happy mood, one that they didn't want spoiled by another murder. It was never any secret who was the killer.
For this reason Morgana received threats, complaints, and even pleads for mercy day after day after day.
As you can probably guess, she didn't particularly enjoy these letters, and this one was no exception.
The letter waved in the breeze, precariously balancing on the twig that was impaling it, oblivious to the fact that it would soon be ripped in Morgana's claws, much like many, many letters before it.
Oftentimes letters would arrive when it was colder, as well, when the autumn leaves were dropping. Dropping like the letters. Straight into Morgana's enchanted fireplace. It was full of evil smelling ash, and could only hold fires that brought no warmth. Poisonous black flames that she used to set the letters ablaze, causing the thin parchment to melt with the ink. It was more soothing than watching it just plain burn.
Some may say that Morgana was a witch. This is not very far from the truth. They said that she brewed potions and poisons by the light of the moon. The poisons part was right. She could make delightful potions that could kill a grown dragon with just a drop. Yes, delightful indeed.
Dragons would say that she was a hired assassin. They were also partly correct, in that she was a silent killer. She was not often hired. Morgana killed at her own will. It was much preferable to the alternative. Was it less selfish to kill on behalf of another dragon for a meager supply of coin? No, it was not. This was her way of thinking. Truthfully, though, the part that upset her the most was the sparse, unfair payment.
Morgana was not an entirely bad dragon, as her actions may set you to think. She did all of this because of her late mother. We shall not discuss her death here, otherwise the witch dragon- (you-know-who)- may come to poison us in our sleep.
You-know-who being Morgana, the witch, the potion-brewer, the most sinister (and evilly genius) dragon of all time.
