B I O G R A P H Y

______ Zylenis is an arcane dragon who wandered into the lair of a deep sea witch. The Dragon was hungry and lost, without any treasure to buy any food nor strength to work. He spied her treasures and her vast stores of food and tried to make off with them, only to be caught by her familiar, who held him in a cage in the witch's cave until she returned. Upon her arrival, she was furious that someone dare trespass into her home and cursed him for trying to steal from her. Her curse made it so he could never set foot on Arcane soil again and gave him the hideously beautiful guise of an anglerfish, the fish she personally hates most, just to spite him. Banished from his home, Zylenis wandered until he collapsed, so hungry that he was sure he would perish. Instead, he was found by Windstorm, and he helped create the clan that he now calls home.

______ Zylenis is deeply ashamed of his appearance and his actions in the past. He'd love nothing more than to be able to apologize to the witch who cursed him, but he wouldn't know what to say. Not to mention, it'd be pointless since he cannot set foot in the land she resides. He's a very reserved and quiet dragon. Often preferring solitude than being with a big crowd. He also has a deep love for the quiet, which is his only solace on the sea floor when he's gathering fish. When on land, Zylenis wears his two-toned mantle to cover his gills

______ Zylenis is far too afraid of companionship and far too uncomfortable with himself to ever consider taking a permanent mate. However, he forms bonds with other dragons very quickly once they get past his initial appearance. This has resulted in him having very few offspring, as rarely can he get confident enough to mate.

______ Zylenis tries to use his curse to benefit his clan as best he can. Because of his fins and gills, he's an excellent swimmer and an astounding fisherman. As such, he gathers fish to sell at the market to bring in coin for his clan to be able to use for food or lair improvements. Ridgeback and Coatl dragons are his best customers.
