B I O G R A P H Y

At first glance, Necryx may not seem like much besides a mean looking imperial. There's more to this frightening imperial as he is a proud descendant of the Plaguebringer themselves. Some are confused as how this came to be as the mighty diety had no children. The start of Necryx's line has been hand raised from eggs by the Plaguebringer.

Necryx wanted to make his ancestor proud and spread the ever-growing rot and start a clan of his own. Of course, Necryx wasn't able to as he was being studied in a laboratory for his unique power only given to those whom are direct descendants to the Plaguebringer. Necryx has the ability of necromancy, as the dead rot away underground giving him control. Necryx acted as the laboratory's guard, preventing dragons under research from escaping. Necryx had done amazingly at his role until he encountered a peculiar pearlcatcher. They were just as strong as he was and were able to take him down in battle.

Necryx of course was in awe with the pearlcatcher, showing signs of an emotion he never had before. Necryx realizing the dream he had as a hatchling, they both escaped the laboratory with a few other dragons tailing behind. He asked her to join him, in hope of starting the clan together but alas she declined as she wanted to start her own. He understood and they went their separate ways, each taking half of the dragons that tailed them in their escape. Soon after, Necryx fell into despair as he wanted to stay with the pearlcatcher he admired so much. He decided to start his clan in the Scarred Wasteland with the rest of the dragons alongside him.

B I O G R A P H Y

Necryx soon began to expand his clan. He does have a few favorites that he harbors here. Flameforger is like a son to him, as he is the youngest representative in the Rotrock Rim. He has respect for Blue, the hunting leader of the clan. They're the main income of food and dragons on the outskirts. His final favorite is Keeva, as he keeps their natural funds in check and does it swell too. Necryx himself doesn't really do much besides keep dragons in line and discuss orders between the circle of imperials.

Necryx doesn't really keep in touch with the pearlcatcher and soon forgot about her but she still lingered in the back of his mind. As time went on, he started interacting with other clan members more often. He's mostly known as the 'Big Bad Boss', with an unnerving air around him at all times. The only dragon he approaches softly to is Flameforger, a bond everyone doesn't dare to mess with.

The outfit he wears reminds him of his past. Once known as a successful gambler, before being taken in for experiments. He tends to chuckle at remarks to his old gambling name, Necryx the Nefarious. Even though he's much older now, he still has his tricks up his sleeve and can easily nitpick a few pounds of treasure from unsuspecting travelers in a match of poker. He still has yet to find a perfect mate to pass on the plague, but a ton of dragons have taken his place for the task in the clan. In regards to his ability of necromancy, he only uses it if needed or he feels threatened (which rarely happens). His necromancy can control any type of undead dragon, from large Ridgebacks and Imperials to small Faes and Veilspuns. If you keep an eye on Necryx long enough, you can find him practicing in a secluded area while deep in thought.
