Biography
Gabriel zipped past a dragon he had never noticed in their clan before and wondered when he had arrived. The dragon in question, Bendal, was a stately, gentle skydancer that smiled when Gabriel stopped and stared. As Gabriel flew closer, Bendal bowed his head for a moment and returned to smiling.
"Hello. Who are you?" Gabriel the golden veil chimed merrily.
"My name is Bendal. And you are?"
"Gabriel," the tiny golden veil danced in the air around the dragon. "When did you get here? Where are you from? Who brought you?"
Bendal chuckled, "Now. Light? Myself?"
Gabriel scowled at the short answers and wondered if he should be more leery about the new comer. "Have you met Mama yet?"
"No! Shall we go see her? Is she near?" Bendal smiled and looked around.
"Well, we can. Mama Mad should be over there," Gabriel continued to scowl at the skydancer but flew slow enough to lead him to the edge of the pond where the blue haired satyr sat drinking her tea.
"Oh! Hello Gabriel. Where have you been off playing?" She smiled and held her hand out for the tiny dragon to land on.
"I brought a new friend who showed up today. His name is Bendal. He's right," Gabriel paused as he looked around and didn't see the friendly skydancer anywhere. "Shoot! Where did he run off too? He was just here!"
"I'm sure he is around here somewhere. He'll come say hi when he is ready. Until then, when you find him, you have to make sure he is nice and comfy in our home," the happy satyr relaxed and set the confused dragon on her lap.
"But he was just here! I swear!" Gabriel sighed as he continued to look around and relaxed in the sun.
Bendal watched from the shadows of the trees. He hated disappearing on the tiny dragon but it worried him if the leader of this clan would let a ghost like him stay. She was happily smiling across the water as the veil that had found him fell into a small nap on her leg. Bendal continued to watch as no one bothered him nor pestered the small satyr by the water. Skewing his courage up, Bendal glided nearer, watching around them for anyone. He never made a sound; however, the satyr patted the ground next to her without looking back.
"You are welcome here. No need on being afraid. I'm sure you can stay at least long enough for a cup of tea and to meet my friend Ghost?" The satyr sat in front of him without turning her head around to look at him.
Bendal stared at the back of her blue hair, surprised she had sensed him but never moved from his position. "How?"
"I'm used to it. So would you like some tea?" The satyr smiled back to him and patted the ground again.
Bendal sighed and sauntered up quietly to not disturb the small Gabriel. "I guess it couldn't hurt," he whispered as he finally felt a welcoming.
