Peridot was a lone wanderer with their companion Carnelian, the pair spending their days flitting from place to place. The pair of them met up with many dragons along the way, Peridot even having a brief fling with a handsome Coatl named Conure while traveling. Eventually she was drawn to a lovely garden found deep in the Tangled Wood, a rare spot of sweetness in the gloom of the Shadow Flight. In this garden, she bumped into the lovely Laci, and it was practically love at first sight. They ended up joining Laci’s clan of the Stronghold shortly after, much to Carnelian’s chagrin.

Peridot is an upbeat and excitable sort, happy to have found acceptance in the Stronghold. She had often been regarded as strange or odd because of her appearance and behavior, much more bug-like than dragon-like. All she needed in her life was somebody to accept her for who she was, finding that in Laci above all others, the two of them having become quite the sweet couple of lovebugs. Peridot wasn’t even too put off by the return of Conure, immediately jumping in to introduce him to her new family, despite his nerves about intruding on her new life. Peridot and Laci can often be found tending the Stronghold’s flower garden together, or just cuddling among the sweet scents of their bounty.
