A SILLY MISTAKE. A FATAL MISTAKE.
Midarra was the youngest sister of the water monsters. She has an ominous aesthetic and likes to lurk, with only her bright red eyes showing. Aside from that, she has a softer side and likes to check in on others she's close to.

To get in touch with her watery origins, she traveled with Jelbur right off the coast of Plague Territory and into Water Territory. She insisted on swimming, but while down there Jelbur got tangled up in the reeds. Midarra tried to free Jelbur, but instead he drowned. She felt awful afterwards, and wears plantlife to remind herself of her fatal mistake.

She was able to bring Jelbur's body back, but it was too late. Once at the Wyrmwound, she sent him off in a makeshift boat, a funeral of sorts. She's a bit of a hypocrite because if it came to another dragon drowning, she would feel no remorse, but because it was her brother, and even though her parents reassured her, she can't let it go, and alienates herself.

She eventually felt bad enough that she wanted to leave Plague. She couldn't stand to live with the daily reminders.

Originally preparing to leave on her journey by herself, Midarra happened upon a travelling caravan by pure chance. Not wanting to bear the weight of travel by herself, she joined them, leaving the Scarred Wastelands once and for all.
