Head Archivist
Spilled Ink • "she/her"
Written in gold.
Nuem is the main archivist and fairly skilled in calligraphy. She dedicates all of her time to keeping the clan's record books and writing documents. Currently, she is the highest ranking in the clan's intel division, right under Satyrion herself. She proofreads all scrolls and books that are written by the other archivists. The engineers often go to her to compare and match information.
Nuem is very artistic and likes to doodle in her spare time. Her personal notes are full of random scribbles of her clan mates and fauna (that she'll never show anyone for as long as she lives.) She loves colored ink and always requests for more whenever the merchants are setting out. She's rather quiet and always remains within the library or her study instead of hanging out with clan mates.
She has poor eyesight and always needs to wear her glasses. Without them, she is easily lost and has difficulty with judging distance, often bumping into fellow dragons. She is very apologetic when it happens.
Due to her Ice and Arcane-blessed heritage, Nuem is very gifted in magic and can use both elements with ease, but her poor eyesight makes it difficult to aim. Still, it doesn't discourage her from practicing once in a while. She's just too shy to ask one of the mages to give her pointers.

While cleaning out an old, forgotten archive in the beautiful, pink lands of Arcane, Erh and Ems accidentally came in contact with a set of curious, unused ink when the unseen bottles tumbled off a high shelf. After a long, tense moment of nothing happening, they saved what they could, just in case, and cleaned themselves off.
The very next morning, they awoke with permanently changed appearances. Their hides resembled parchment that had been stained with color. Believing that the Arcanist had inadvertently blessed them, they took it in stride.
A few weeks later, they stumbled across the knowledge that they could safely channel much more magic than before.
Their children are born with the same distinctive patterns on their hide and ample magic reserves. Despite having the Icewarden in their veins, Erh and Ems believe their family's been further blessed by their maker, the Arcanist, for their hatchlings' pigments of color are ever-shifting.
