Biography
Cirris Agent - Emissary - Envoy trait//trait//trait//trait// Perhaps there is merit in not knowing. Not all of our experiments end up the way they should. In fact, most don't. This is why we've converted to the art of 'Beast-Testing'. We stare at innocent creatures as they gauge their eyes out as a result of unbearable pain, or shake continuously followed by the typical ending sequence: limbs too limp to carry the body, and a final drop. Of course- we do not test our plants on dragons, Alucard once told me that that would be undragonly. Of course, I agree. He likes to call things that- undragonly. It's his way of pointing out injustice- even if he and I are just bi-standers to the whole fiasco. Upon approaching Sirel, I noticed her lack of care towards the world. She was daintily picking flowers- of course she was. Sometimes I wonder how she ends up with so many, when all she does is pluck each developed bud one at a time like a depressed bird. She looked so beautiful in this clearing. I didn't ask her anything. I came, I saw, I turned away. I couldn't possibly ask a dragon of such purity a thing like that. 'What you are doing is cruel' she would say; I didn't want to hear it. As I returned to Alucard, I ensured I appeared disappointed, with head drooped and eyes as relaxed as possible foreshadowing the 'bad' news. He sat in the clearing and signaled for me to follow into the dense undergrowth or snow encapsulating our now lair. Alucard stopped and turned to face the small icy glass house that I have adjusted myself to call home. "And?" His chest pushed out before him- he sure looked aggressive. And with head still lowered I whispered "She claims that what we are doing is stupendously illicit." in an attempt to convince him of my long lost opinion. "Sirel only considers the outside. Cirris- do you really reckon that staring at nature for ones entire existence doesn't make them an egoist? Those pretty petals, oh how they seduce one's focal point. They have been created to attract bees after all. The insides are what is important- the poison that shreds these flowers upon a delicate touch." Reluctantly I added "The toxin, it calls us.." |
