Alix: Clan Lore-ist

From the time she was born, Alix felt a bit different from other dragons. She didn't have interest in learning magic or how to hunt. She didn't crave victory in combat or raising young to take their place in the world. She didn't care to do much of anything the other dragons did. But, she was nonetheless fascinated by their actions. Alix constantly wanted to know how things had become the way they are.

She constantly asked the elder dragons to tell her the stories of old, even venturing a journey to the flight deity for further information when her clan lacked the answers she sought. She wanted to know how they all got here, why and how they chose their roles, who came from different flights and who was a born member of the contagion.

Her immense passion for learning and storing information did not go unnoticed by the leaders. The clan leaders prior to Mukate and Darkfall had called her to them one day to discuss how she could contribute to the clan. At first, Alix thought she was in trouble for not hunting, well...not being very good at hunting anyway, or not watching hatchlings. This was far from the case. These two dragons recognized the gift that Alix had for listening and organization as well as searching out the truth. They told Alix they had decided on a role for her within the clan.

Alix waited quietly, willing to accept the leaders' instruction even if it was nothing she cared for. Imagine her surprise when they suggested that she gift the clan with her knowledge. Alix could hardly contain her joy! She would be able to help the clan she loves so much by recording their history and their present for the future generations. In due time she would take on an apprentice to help with her work since it would surely grow in magnitude as time continues.

That was many years ago and since that day Alix has been recording anything and everything relating to the clan. Due to her knowledge the new clan leaders, Mukate and Darkfall, often sought her out when making difficult decisions or trying to find the best job for a certain dragon. She is well respected within the clan, as is her apprentice, Baladitya, for few other dragons had the patience, attention to detail, and sheer dedication this position requires.

Day to day Alix can be found in the middle of the clan's lands watching comings and goings. She is always ready to hear or tell a story and is one of the first to welcome all newcomers and tell them about the clan they have joined.
