Research:

The other main specialty of the clan is research, though this rarely leaves the clan’s walls. If the rumors are true, survivors of Voiceless Reverence encountered the Shade - an eldritch abomination no less. It would make sense that they would take an interest anything anti-Shade related as well as Shade exposure treatment. Within the fortress, one tower is fully devoted to research regarding the Shade and magic as a whole. The clan’s stance on the Shade is no secret as it were.

Synthesis attends the court as the representative of all research, despite sharing this role with another. Ignoring her court given title, Synthesis is more accurately the clan’s Lead Shade Research Specialist. Elvira serves the clan as the Lead Magic Research Specialist. Synthesis’ varying titles stem from Elvira’s refusal to attend court. The two share responsibilities over their sections of the tower and matters regarding their research within their fields
