Biography
Snapshot: Quiet, severe, and short tempered with the reckless, Paean is an expert healer -- one of the first children born to the clan since they moved to the Ice Fields. While her personal belief system is rather patchwork, being the child of an Arcane academic and a plagueborn lorekeeper dedicated to the Icewarden, she is firmly fixated on serving her clan with the knowledge she gathers. Background: Paean differs from her parents, Vivid and Orithyia, in that while she values knowledge, she values little that is useless or ephemeral. She focuses on learning things that she can utilize to help keep the others healthy and hale. She can often be found harassing the members of the clan that don’t take care of themselves into moderately better condition, or tinkering away in the lab space she shares with Belladonna; though she is looking to expand into a full infirmary. Though younger than the elder Coatl, Paean finds Belladonna’s absentminded focus on the sensual rather endearing, and often volunteers to test out some of her newest experiments. Goals: Develop a failproof cryogenic process for handling patients usable by most healers. After growing up on stories of the Plaguelands fast acting illnesses, and with the clan’s particular dedication to the physical manifestation of their new god’s power, she’s struck upon the desire to develop easily usable and reproducible magics that can arrest individuals and diseases in their tracks to give healers time to assist them. |
