His name means "arrow", but he is no archer. The coatl could not even draw back a bowstring if he tried. Instead, he prefers to wield sanded shafts of wood, with bundles of hairs at the end. Paintbrushes are the things that hold the most meaning to him, he who is without color, and seemingly devoid of life to his colorful kin, who have long since shunned his monochromatic coat.

He is not ashamed of his coloration. in fact, Sagittas believes that his own lack of color allows him to better appreciate what other dragons easily take for granted. He speaks of each and every hue and shade with respect and reverence, and captures them in the cage of his unblemished canvases, carefully prepared beforehand to show the world the passion within each of his brushstrokes.

White is the absence of color. As such, he can understand and bring all colors together using himself. He pursues mastery of his craft without weariness, so perhaps one day, he might become the masterwork of his own artistry. Yet, even if he becomes vibrantly rainbow-colored, showcasing entire worlds of wonder on his wings, too many colors will blend together and eventually become black.
