-Kibougamine: Hope's Peak
-Zetsubousei: Desparity Zetsubousei went by another name, Kibougamine, many years ago. Having reached his thousandth year, and successfully passed the harrowing trials of the Great Temple, the newly-empowered Tenko began his journey back to the temple where he was born. In his absence, however, terrible things had transpired: his small clan had been scattered by a great horde of Ashen monsters. With no one else to aid him, Kibou found himself facing the multitude of creatures on his own. The beasts were much stronger than those that normally prowled around the edges of the clan's territory, frighteningly powerful to the point that even the Tenko had great difficulty eliminating the remainder of them. His power depleted, the Imperial collapsed not long after. The lustrous hues of gold and white faded from his pelt as the Shade's curse descended upon him, seeping into the wounds sustained from the dreadful claws and fangs of the Ashen beasts. Kibou endured the creeping darkness for many days before he had regained enough power to halt its progress. By that point, though, he had become a totally different drake. His mind muddled and his power suppressed, the Cursed Tenko took up a new name in his despair. He now roams Remnant in search of his missing kin, and any hopes of removing his ailment. Recently, he's come to be in the presence of a showy Pipe Fox and her dryad lover. Their company has done well to lift some of his sorrow. ________________________________________ |

Zetsubousei is quiet and reserved, speaking in low tones and generally avoiding any sort of interaction. That's not to say he is unkind: he's simply concerned that his affliction could lead to him harming others. The fallen Tenko is occasionally overcome by fits of strange murmuring and unnatural movements.
His magical abilities have become greatly suppressed by the Shade that feeds on his mana, so he instead relies on his physical strength to defend himself and others. Very little drives him to act out of anger, but his hatred for the Ashen is well-known, and he will do all he can to destroy any such creature that crosses his path. ________________________________________ |

The ominous Death Seeker that perches upon Zetsubousei's antlers has no name. It simply decided to accompany him one day, and never strays very far. As the birds are often seen as heralds of misfortune, the Tenko theorizes that it may be drawn to him because of his curse.
 Despite the rather morbid implications of its presence, the corvid has yet to present any sort of ill will towards him. Zetsu has taken to voicing concerns about his condition to the bird, as he is unwilling to burden his more lighthearted companions with his sorrows. ________________________________________ |
