Atara comes from a troubled background, and you can tell from her differences from her Spiral peers. She is subdued compared to them (though still very spiral-ey compared to the rest of the clan) and almost never lets herself be seen without her gloves and coat. She has some scars that she doesn't like people to see, and it makes her shy. She has a habit of shrinking and cringing, as if terrified of getting in anyone's way or making herself an inconvenience. Rarely does she think of herself and her own wants, always catering to others.

For now she works with Nairobie to make arrows for the clan. Her bursts of energy are very good for getting work done, though her quiet low swings can last concerningly long for a spiral. That's okay: Moonsabre clan is meant to be a safe space, and she's slowly learning how to come out of her shell and be her own person. At the moment the only members of the clan who know her to any degree are Nairobie and a few of the other spirals, but she's opening up bit by bit. One day she'll find what she likes, and she'll start to live for herself.
