Acidburner Founding Dragon

Acidburner's are a corrupted toxic dragon species that have such a corrosive core it begins to eat at the body's skin revealing the core underneath.But why do these dragons exist? What could have caused such a change in their biology that it effects them this way? Not much is known but, these dragons were first discovered after a hazardous material leak in the scared wasteland where a single female imperial was found. Abandoned in a nest the hatchling imperial was scared and alone. Toxic as she came to be called had gem like growths all over her that glowed green against her dark purple skin. As she aged these growths seemed to burst leaving a hole to a core of bright green glowing gems in their place. After years of research on toxic another acid burner was finally found, he would come to be known as BioHazard or haz for short a young male skydancer. He was the first dragon that had come into contact with toxin and was not put off by toxics appearance in fact he seemed intrigued by it. Just like her he had never seen another like him. Though his core was not the vibrant green of hers but instead glowed bright orange. Haz was old enough that he no longer had the crystalline growths upon his skin that marked him as an infant but rather the open area’s of skin glaring to his core. After some time toxic took him as a mate hoping that their condition would allow them to have children of their own. They thus began the acid burner project to learn more about this strange mutation and grow the species.

The only known acidburners are either imperials or skydancers with purple skin and bright insides shown off for all to see. The darker the purple the more perfect in the eyes of other acidburners the ideal acid burner being double royal in color with a radioactive tert.
