Artemisia is Nep's translator. She ensures that all linguistic and cultural communication runs smoothly, especially for species that have a difficult time understanding fae. It can be said that the nocturne's presence is vital, and interactions may be hostile or even impossible without her; but in Artemisia's case, it is a thankless job.

Tem is actually quite shy and anxious, all traits opposite to those expected in a high-stakes profession. But being a nocturne instinctually able to understand and imitate other dragons, she's quite talented at her job- and so she continues, despite the stress it brings her.

There are a few things in her personal life that bring her joy, though. After a long day, Tem loves nothing more than to change into her robes and play card games with her brother. They often exchange stories about how their days went, and it is one of the few times Tem feels understood. Both siblings unfortunately suffer from stressful jobs due to their introversion, but they are glad to at least have each other.

She also has her Magpie Sphinx for company, whose soft fur brings much-needed comfort. Tem often imagines herself camouflaging just like her familiar can to hide away from the world. She's just a drained introvert at the end of the day, after all.
