Valor

Valor had been friends with Star since they were hatchlings. They had grown up together and become almost like siblings. But as they grew Valor started to feel something towards Star. For a while she didn’t know what this feeling was but on one of the hardest days where he was the only one there for her she decided it must be love. She contemplated confessing her feelings for a long long time but she couldn’t decide what to do. What if he rejected her? What if he laughed in her face? Finally after many long nights spent laying in her nest conflicted on the matter she decided it would be best to tell him. On the night of the plague festival just as the sun was beginning to set she came to his den to ask him if he would talk but as she entered she saw him with Inferno. Valor cried herself to sleep that night. She had loved Star but he had given his affection to another! Valor thought he cared about her more than anyone else in the world but no… he loved her. Valor started avoiding Star after that, she couldn’t bear to see his face anymore. At first he tried to get Valor to talk to him which made her feel even more betrayed. But after a few months he moved on and left Valor to her anger. Soon enough Valor began to feel forgotten, Alone, Isolated. But she still wouldn’t forgive Star, not now, not ever. So she turned to the dark arts of Plague magic to try and heal her broken heart. Time passed and Valor fell deeper and deeper into the abyss of magic, she rarely talks to anyone and she never leaves her den except in the middle of the night. Now she focuses all her energy into magic still hoping that it will bring her shattered and now corrupted heart together. Sometimes if you listen closely she can be heard mumbling the ways she plans to take her revenge on the couple who brought her to such despair.
